The Hand of Fatima or a Hamsa is an ancient symbol going back to Mesopotamia. The Hand was said to represent protection especially in the divine feminine. It was hung on doorways to ward off negative energies. Our hand has a center evil eye with a tiny genuine blue sapphire stone set on a delicate chain that has an adjustable length. Made in either solid 14K yellow gold or in sterling silver with rhodium plating. The length is 6 1/2" but with 1 1/2" for adjustable length at the ends.
