We partnered with a national award winning ceramicist in Mexico to create a few fun Day of Dead pieces for us. We liked the clean black and white hand painted designs which felt more modern. Catrina was first depicted in Mexico in 1910. The Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday that starts November 1st that can trace it's roots back 3000 years to the Aztecs. It's a day to remember your loved ones who have passed on and celebrate their legacy. Each piece is hand painted clay made in Mexico. Three small tapas bowls are 3" in diameter and 1 1/2" deep.
