Description

Persephone was the daughter of Zeus and Demeter who was the goddess of Flora and spring... she was abducted by the lusty Hades and taken to the Underworld. As any mother would... her mom through a fit and got her back but Hades had tricked her into eating six pomegranate seeds while she was in his world... thereby contracting her to coming back for six months of the year. This was the story used to explain the changing seasons. She became a goddess of both the light and the dark, life and death. Sterling silver plated in 14K gold with simulated garnet stones creating a crown like ring with a tiny skull and flowers.
