Swan Necklace

In a widespread myth, found across Europe, Asia, and Indigenous North American traditions, a man discovers a group of supernatural women bathing near water who transform into birds when they wear their feathered cloaks. The mortal steals the cloak of the youngest and most beautiful maiden, forcing her to remain in her human form and become his wife. She often bears him children but eventually manages to recover her cloak and departs, leaving her human husband behind to seek her forever more. Oh how we want a feathered cape! and to fly back to the Faerie realm. For now we'll be beguiling wearing swans instead. Made of  recycled brass and plated in 18K gold with cubic zirconia stones and genuine freshwater pearls. 16" long chain with a 3" extension for additional length if needed.
