The Lilith Kimono Jacket

We are so excited to share our first apparel piece! Inspired by Lilith and the tree that Eve was forbidden to eat from. Lilith was said to be Adam's first companion created equally by god. But Adam didn't want an equal and Lilith had no time for fools. So  God made Eve from a rib taken from Adam and she was supposed to be the more subservient wife. Eve famously was tempted by a "snake" to eat from the forbidden tree of knowledge. Don't you wonder if that snake wasn't Lilith? Sharing with Eve, as women often do, information that they wanted to keep from her? We like strong, independent, smart women supporting other women. Our Jacket is 100% poly velvet with a silky lining and pockets on the side seam. All the beading and embroidery is done by hand with trusted friends in India. Easy fit.
