He wanted a woman who would be subservient to him... he went whining....then God took a rib from Adam to make Eve. Eve was said to "have eaten from the tree of knowledge" after being tempted by a snake and therefore "sinned". Don't you wonder though if that magical talking snake (seriously?) was Lilith.
