The Oracle Locket

The Oracle of Delphi was the most powerful woman in all of the ancient world. Kings, Queens and generals would travel to hear her advise given above the fissure in the Temple of Apollo.  The last known words of the Oracle of Delphi, also known as the Pythia, were spoken during the 4th century CE, when the Roman Emperor Julian the Apostate sought advice on reviving Greek culture. The Pythia declared, "Tell the emperor that the Daidalic has fallen. No longer does Phoebus have his chamber, nor mantic laurel, nor prophetic spring, and the speaking water has been silenced."

This prophecy signaled the end of the Oracle's ability to speak and the decline of her religious significance. But did you know?.... the spring is flowing again.
