Ancient Egyptians believed bracelets possessed magical protective powers and often buried their dead with them to ensure safe passage into the afterlife. Ancient Roman soldiers also wore wide leather or metal bracelets to protect their wrists during battle. We love wearing a little magic at our wrists.
