Our hand beaded Athena amazonite bead necklace has a delicate olive leaf pendant in brass plated in goldtone with cubic zirconia stones. Amazonite is a beautiful aqua blue stone that brings a calming effect to the soul and encourages harmony and balance. A good stone to wear when you need to quiet the mind and be present in the here and now. Athena was said to win patronage of Athens by creating and gifting olive trees. Olive branches then became a symbol for the goddess... a wreath  would be made in victory and to extend someone a branch is said to offer peace. Necklace measures 16" and has a chain extension.
