Our Death's Head Hawkmoth or Death Moth earrings are inspired by the moth that has a memento mori vibe.  These moths are easily distinguishable by the vaguely human skull-shaped pattern of markings on the thorax. They are large nocturnal moths with brown and yellow or orange coloring, and all three species are fairly similar in size, coloration. Our earrings are brass based and plated in 18K gold featuring either a natural crystal quartz, amethyst or labradorite stone. Due to the genuine nature of each stone, no two will be alike.
