Legend describes Medusa as one of the three monstrous gorgon sisters with with living venomous snakes in place of hair. Snakes have long been symbolic of power, protection, evolution and eternity. I notice strong women often get described as "monsters" as a way to take away their influence and diminish how brightly they shine. Our ring is based on an ancient Roman ring, made of brass and plated in gold with an antiqued finish. We like wearing snakes as a way to take back that power.
